Refund Policy
Last updated: May 2026
TheChannelMarket operates a contact-driven sales model. We don't process payments through the site, every transaction is coordinated personally between us and the buyer. Because nothing is charged before terms are agreed, refund risk is limited by design. This policy explains how it works.
1. No payment is taken upfront
When you click Contact to buy on a channel page, you start a conversation , by email or on Telegram. We never ask for payment details, card numbers, or bank credentials on this site. There is no checkout. You are not at risk of losing money before terms are explicitly agreed in writing.
2. How payment is handled (and how refunds work)
Once both sides agree on the deal, we decide together on the payment method, typically one of:
- Bank transfer / Wise, buyer transfers funds after we confirm the channel is reserved and ready. Refund: if the YouTube transfer cannot be completed, funds are returned to the originating account.
- Third-party escrow service (e.g. escrow.com), recommended for larger deals. Funds are held by the neutral third party and only released once both sides confirm successful transfer. Refund handled directly by the escrow provider per their own policy.
- Cryptocurrency, for buyers who prefer it. We typically run crypto deals against partial-delivery milestones to keep risk symmetric.
The exact terms, including refund conditions, are written down in the email thread (or Telegram chat) before any money moves. That written agreement is the source of truth for any refund request.
3. When you are entitled to a full refund
- YouTube transfer cannot be completed, if, after payment, we cannot complete the official brand-account transfer within the timeframe agreed (typically 72 hours), the funds are returned in full.
- Channel materially misrepresented, if the channel turns out to have a permanent suspension, a significantly lower subscriber count than listed, or a strike status that we failed to disclose, you receive a full refund.
- Listing already sold, if you paid for a channel that was sold to someone else in error, you receive a full refund.
4. When refunds are not available
- After confirmed transfer, once you have confirmed in writing that you have received full access to the channel, the sale is final.
- Change of mind, we do not refund once you've confirmed the deal and the transfer process has started.
- Future performance, refunds are not based on what happens to the channel after transfer (subscriber loss, monetization rejection, algorithmic changes, etc.).
5. How to raise a refund request
Reply to the email thread where the deal was agreed, or message us on Telegram. Include the channel you bought and the date of the transaction. We respond within 24 hours and, if the request is eligible under section 3 above, the refund is processed within 5 business days through whichever method was used for payment.
